Sarkodie Finally Receives Original BET Award Plaque

Five months after winning the Best International Act award at the BET Awards, Ghanaian act Sarkodie has finally received the original plaque designed for the award.
Initially presented with a miniature plaque, authorities at the Black Entertainment Television have finally presented the “authentic” award plaque to Sarkodie.
Management of Sarkodie unveiled the plaque to a gathering of journalists in Accra on Wednesday December 19, during the launch of Sarkodie Live in Concert, which comes off on Christmas day.
Sarkodie, who was joint winner with Nigeria’s Wizkid, became the first Ghanaian artiste to win the award.

 Sarkodie refused Asem’s Collaboration

Asem’s last fylla doesn’t seem to be going down with some artists he mentioned in the song. In his usual end of year song reportage, Asem reported about the ills the year has held for ‘showbizers’. Names such as DKB,Keche, Zainab among others featured in it.Sarkodie’s rap university camp has replied Asem’s last fylla.
The SRC president of Sarkodie’s Rap University, Donzy in a reply told Asem to focus on his life and leave Sarkodie out of his mentions.
He added that Asem asked Sarkodie for a collabooration and Sarkodie refused adding that, Tema fans will be mad at him for such a feature. The song which is a direct reply to Asem called out his alleged rape case and made him aware that, not just anyone can win a BET award so Asem should pay that due respect.
